Our Credentialing Specialist will have the ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and will be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Credentialing
Completes the credentialing database checks required for each Care Giver/Provider
Maintains employee and Credentialing software, files and reports
Re-credentials all billable providers as required
Ensures all forms are complete and available for audit purposes
Ensures all databases are kept accurate and current
Human Resources Compliance
Completes the Form I-9 verification process
Submits new employee background checks
Collects drug testing results for both new hire and random checks
Stays current on compliance requirements pertaining to hiring and credentialing
Administration
Completes employment verifications
Schedules and helps to facilitate the New Hire Orientation program
Ensures on-boarding activities are completed based on compliance guidelines
